The purpose of the Jin Shin Jyutsu® Professional Practitioner Course Student Files is to provide an opportunity for students currently in the Program to submit their various homework assignments online. It is the student's resposibility to submit their homework in a timely manner by the specified due dates that are discussed in class. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the instructors.

Acceptable submitted Student Files

The only acceptable files to be submitted online are Word Documents (.doc or .docx).


The purpose of the Jin Shin Jyutsu® Professional Practitioner Course Discussion Forum (aka “Discussion Forum”) is to provide an opportunity for students currently in the Program to share ideas and information relevant to the Certification Program.

You are responsible for reading, understanding, and complying with these Terms & Conditions. Your use of this Discussion Forum is an acknowledgement that you have agreed to the following:

Rules of Conduct for Contributions

  • You are a healing professional, and your online behavior must reflect this professionalism. Therefore, all of your contributions, discussions, comments and/or posts should be respectful.
  • Be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited with the intention of causing trouble or harm.
  • Keep all contributions, comments, posts and discussion strings cordial. If there is a difference of opinion, do not make derogatory, negative, embarrassing, or degrading comments (Example: “I can’t believe you said that!” “No, you are wrong!”). Instead, be respectful of each other’s viewpoints.
  • Keep all contributions, comments, discussions, and/or posts related to the course materials and practice of Jin Shin Jyutsu®.
  • Do not make remarks about any other healing modality(s) that could be construed or perceived as negative, derogatory and/or defamatory.
  • Do not use any comments or materials which could be perceived as obscene, offensive, hateful, inflammatory, sexually explicit, or promote violence, illegal activity, discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation and/or age.
  • Do not be threatening, abusive or invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety.
  • Do not make any contributions to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy another person.
  • Do not impersonate anyone else, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person.
  • Do not give the impression that your contributions or views emanate from Jin Shin Jyutsu®, Inc.
  • Do not post information that you know is fraudulent, untrue, inaccurate, and/or incomplete.
  • Do not infringe on any copyright, database right or trademark of any other person, organization or entity.
  • Do no contribute anything that is a breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence.
  • You are responsible to ensure that the content of any URL, link or attachment you post complies with the Discussion Forum Terms and Conditions. Please note that any post containing a URL or attachment may be subject to review and moderation.
  • Do not include any advertising for any commercial purpose.
  • Do comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws of the United States.


  • Comply with all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) laws, statutes, and regulations.
  • Do not make any contributions, comments, posts, and/or discussions that could be construed as PHI (Protected Health Information) or Individually Identifiable Information. PHI is considered health information, whether oral or recorded in any form or medium, that relates to past, present, or future physical or mental health or condition of any individual, or the provision of healthcare for the same. Individually Identifiable Information is a subset of PHI that identifies an individual or where there is a reasonable basis to believe the information can be used to identify the individual.
  • Do not use client or patient names, initials, social security numbers, street addresses, contact information, or dates of birth in any contributions, discussions, comments, and/or posts.
  • Do not post any information, images, photos and/or demographic data that could possibly identify another individual, regardless of whether the person is a client, patient, friend, family member, acquaintance, or member of the public.
  • Do not share the contents of the Discussion Forum with anyone else or in any other medium. This Discussion Forum is not open to the public, and its contents are strictly confidential to protect the privacy of all its participants.
  • Do not share your Discussion Forum user name or password with anyone else.
  • If you feel that any of the Terms and Conditions have been violated by you or other participants, please contact Jin Shin Jyutsu®, Inc.

Moderator Responsibilities

  • Jin Shin Jyutsu®, Inc. (aka “us,” “we,” “our”), will moderate the Discussion Forum and attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as practicable. However, it is not possible for us to review every message.
  • We reserve the right to remove any content at any time without warning or notification to you or any of the participants.
  • You acknowledge that all posts made to the Discussion Forum express the views and opinions of you only and do not necessarily represent our views or values.


You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Jin Shin Jyutsu®, Inc., moderators, operators, agents, vendors or suppliers from any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to your use or misuse of the Discussion Forum, including, without limitation, your violation of these Terms and Conditions, or any other subscriber or user of your account, of any intellectual property right or other right of any person or entity.


These Terms and Conditions are effective until terminated by Jin Shin Jyutsu®, Inc. In addition, the Terms and Conditions can be updated at any time, and it is your responsibility to periodically check them. If you no longer agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you must cease use of the

Discussion Forum. If you are dissatisfied with the Discussion Forum, its content, or any of these terms, conditions, and policies, your sole legal remedy is to discontinue using it.

Jin Shin Jyutsu®, Inc., reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to and use of the Discussion Forum, or any part of it, without notice to you, if we believe, in our sole discretion, that such use is in violation of any applicable law; is harmful to our interests or the interests, including intellectual property or other rights, of another person or entity; or where we have reason to believe that you are in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is, or is found to be, unenforceable under applicable law, that will not affect the enforceability of the other provisions of the Discussion Forum Terms and Conditions.
